I will be taking my annual trip to New Orleans to go fishing in the gulf this weekend, so I will not be there Sunday. Chris McKinney will be teaching for me, and you will want to hear him, he is a very gifted teacher of God’s Word. Dont forget about Meredith’s party the week after that!! Have a great week guys!

Meredith and I are hosting an awesome movie night at her house July 11 at 6:30. The movie is “Sophie Scholl” and it is German and subtitled..for other details you’ll have to ask Miss Meredith. So, come prepared for fun, food, fellowship, and some reading (don’t forget your glasses)!

Hey guys! I am moving into my new place this Saturday (June 28) and my roommate, Erica, and I could use some help! We’ve got painting opportunities, moving heavy objects opportunities, driving said-heavy-objects opportunities, having fun opportunities, and most importantly a great witnessing opportunity to my new roommate…what a great way to show the love of Christ to a total stranger who’s heart seems to be softened towards the Gospel. Hey guys just a quick announcement. We will not be meeting downstairs for Sunday School this week because of the work being done for adventure camp. I am not sure where we will actually have class. We will meet in the atrium on the couches at 9:30, and hopefull find a room somewhere.
Glenn — thanks for organizing the movie get together. Sadly, we cant make it. We have family in this week and weekend. This hopefully will be a regular thing for us though!! Looking forward to seeing everyone Sunday, Lord willing.

This Friday is a good chance for our class to hang out and watch a drive-in movie together. Please let us know how many of you are interested. We’ve gone once before (last Fall), but it was their last week before closing down for the winter. Now that Summer is here they are in full swing and putting some really good movies up each week.
This Friday the Wilderness Theater Drive-In will be showing The Incredible Hulk! I’ve really been looking forward to seeing this movie and I certainly hope that you will all consider getting together this Friday as we go to the drive-in.
Schedule and Money: I will meet car pool people at Concord Baptist Church at 6:30 PM. We will leave around 6:40 PM to go to the drive-in. That means that we will have about 1.5 hours to hangout, eat, through frisbees or footballs, etc, before the movie begins. Please note that you must bring cash to get in and cash to pay for any food you want. The movies cost only $5 to get in and you get a total of two movies if you want to stay for the late one that starts around 11 PM or Midnight.
Driving directions are on the web site. Please post a comment or E-mail our Google group if you would like to go and make a note if you would like to meet at the Church and do some car pooling.
